Job Description As a network specialist, you will be responsible for the comprehensive lifecycle management and development of critical wired and wireless networks (LAN, WLAN, 5G SA) at the Kittilä mine site. You will work closely with local and global teams to ensure continuous production and safety. Your role includes defining, maintaining, changing, and documenting network solutions in an industrial environment. Job Tasks In this role, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management, development, and maintenance of the office and production networks (LAN, WLAN, 5G SA) at the Kittilä mine site, ensuring the functionality and safety of critical systems in an industrial environment. Your work also includes integrating and developing local and global network solutions. - Responsible for defining, maintaining, and managing the lifecycle of wired and wireless office and production networks (LAN, WLAN, 5G SA) at the mine site. - Develop network solutions that connect local operations with global corporate-level functions. - Maintain and manage security and production-critical network solutions to ensure their availability. - Handle change management, process development, and comprehensive documentation. - Collaborate closely with technical teams, production and maintenance groups, and external parties. - Lead the planning and implementation of network infrastructure changes long-term. We Are Looking For - Higher education degree in a suitable technical field (e.g., telecommunications, automation, electrical engineering). - Experience with data network infrastructures in industrial or other critical environments. - Ability to manage and lead changes systematically and document solutions. - Fluent spoken and written skills in Finnish and English. - Independent, systematic, and persistent working style. We Appreciate If You Have - Knowledge of mobile networks, especially private networks. - Ability to foresee network development needs over a 2–5 year horizon. - Experience with networks in mining or process industries.
