The position available is a fixed-term role for a SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER in early childhood education in the northern region, from August 10, 2026, to April 30, 2027. The qualification requirement for the Special Education Teacher in early childhood education is based on the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018, Section 30), considering the transitional provisions for personnel under the same act (Section 75). Additionally, a relevant specialization training and postgraduate degree or a master's degree in education with a major in special pedagogy are required, according to Regulation (608/2005) Section 2. The salary for the Special Education Teacher is determined according to the job-specific pay system and levels of competence and responsibility, ranging from €3,124.05 to €3,239.10. The actual salary consists of the job-specific pay and any other level-based allowances according to OVTES. Before accepting the position, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract issued under the Act (504/2002) concerning working with children. According to the Infectious Diseases Act (Section 55), the employer is responsible for requiring a reliable health declaration from the employee or intern/student before starting work, confirming they do not have active pulmonary tuberculosis. This declaration must be provided before signing the employment contract. The position includes a trial period. Interviews will be held between June 4, 2026, from 8:00 to 16:00.
