Project Engineer, Stora Enso, Heinola - Academic Work

As a project engineer, you will support our client’s project managers in multiple projects simultaneously. The role is suitable for a recent graduate engineer who wants to learn and develop as a professional in their field. The position is located at Stora Enso's Fluting Mill in Heinola, and the work is primarily on-site at the office. The employment relationship is through Academic Work. Stora Enso is a global leader in renewable materials, focusing heavily on packaging. The Heinola Fluting Mill is an integrated pulp and cardboard factory producing high-quality semi-chemical fluting (corrugated cardboard) for the corrugated board industry. Work Tasks You will support project managers especially during the initial and final phases of projects. Tasks vary according to project needs, but typical duties include documentation, request for quotations, SAP entries, or updates to P&ID diagrams. We are looking for a person with: - A suitable technical educational background (e.g., mechanical or process engineering, mechatronics, electrical, or automation) - Some previous experience in similar roles - Good AutoCAD skills - Fluent Finnish and English language skills - Self-directed and proactive work approach - Good teamwork and communication skills The selected candidate will be required to pass a drug test and a health check.
