We are seeking a school assistant for Parola School's small class for a permanent position starting August 3, 2026. In this role, you will work in a classroom with students requiring support. There is also an opportunity to include afternoon activity supervision at Parola and/or Juteini schools. The working hours are 25–38 hours and 15 minutes per week, depending on whether afternoon supervision is part of the job. Our afternoon activities are sports-oriented, so your workday will include guiding physical activities and daily outdoor play. The qualification requirement is a vocational qualification as a school assistant or a special vocational qualification, a basic qualification in social and health care, or another suitable degree. The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (505/2004). Salary and other terms of employment are determined according to the KVTES collective agreement. The standard salary for this position under KVTES is €2,373.83 per month full-time. The salary also depends on the applicant's years of work experience. The probation period for the position is 6 months.
