Analytical scientist - Biovian Oy - Turku, Finland

We are looking for a new colleague for our quality control laboratory. In the role of Analytical Scientist, your main responsibilities will include designing, validating, reviewing, and reporting SDS-PAGE and capillary electrophoresis methods, as well as supervising work. You will also participate in method development, general laboratory functions, and serve as an expert in customer meetings. The products analyzed are mainly proteins, so previous experience working with similar products is an advantage. Your main tasks will be: Acting as an expert in electrophoretic methods. Reporting, documenting, and writing work instructions for projects. Managing project schedules and reviewing analysis results. Guiding gel analysis personnel. Working in accordance with GMP guidelines. Participating in customer meetings as an expert. To succeed in this role, you should have: Work experience in SDS-PAGE and capillary electrophoresis analytics. A relevant higher education degree (e.g., in biomedical sciences or biochemistry) and practical experience in analytics. Experience in documentation and report writing in English. We hope you have strong expertise in one of the following areas: GMP, Protein analytics, Pharmaceutical industry, Laboratory work. You are precise, systematic, proactive, and energetic. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills are also important. We value flexibility and the ability to work independently. You should have good IT skills and experience with systems such as LIMS.
