Job Description

As a special researcher, you will play an active role in the Social Inclusion and Agency research group. You will be responsible for preparing research and development projects and actively seek external research funding together with other group members. You will hold responsible roles in funded R&D projects. You will also participate in developing the activities of the research group. The tasks include producing scientific publications, disseminating research results, and building and maintaining national and international collaboration networks. Read more about our research group: https://www.turkuamk.fi/tutkimusryhmat/sosiaalinen-osallisuus-ja-toimijuus/ WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU? - Doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences or education sciences) - Strong evidence of research and development activities - Experience in successfully applying for research funding - Experience working in responsible roles in R&D projects - Readiness for academic publishing - Knowledge of TKI activities at universities of applied sciences - Good national and international networks and ability to build new ones - Fluent oral and written skills in Finnish and English. Additionally valued: - Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently - Initiative, flexibility, and a development-oriented work attitude - Ability to develop the research group purposefully and persistently.
