Job Description
Nammo Lapua Oy is seeking additional quality workers at the Lapua factory as operations expand. Nammo Lapua's factory produces cartridges and cartridge components for hunting, sport shooting, and official use. The products are of world-class quality, requiring precision, diligence, perseverance, and interest in detailed work. In this role, you will work on cartridge priming and loading lines as well as packing tasks. Your responsibilities will also include inspection and quality control tasks. To succeed, you need a precise and persistent work attitude and a positive, flexible team spirit. The job requires normal physical fitness. We appreciate if you have previous experience in similar roles or are otherwise handy and precise. Understanding of inspection and packing processes is a plus but not essential. There are no fully trained specialists for this task, so we will train you for this specialized role. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. A security clearance and drug test will be conducted for selected candidates. Who are we looking for? - Motivated, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about work – attitude is key. - Long work experience in industry or specific training is not required. We will guide you through these specialized tasks. - You are precise and proactive, interested in the quality of products handled. - You want to be proud of your work – as we are of every professional’s work. - Teamwork skills are essential in all tasks, so you are also a good colleague. What is the workplace like? - Our factory produces cartridges and components for hunting, sport shooting, and official use. - You will use modern specialized technology and equipment, as well as traditional machines. - You will work in a team of about 60 people in the loading department, with a total of approximately 270 new colleagues. - Safety at work is a priority. Carefully monitored processes and adherence to safety instructions ensure safe working conditions at every stage. - We are an independent operator: all product manufacturing from components to finishing is handled at our Lapua factory. The work involves 2- or 3-shift schedules depending on production needs. The employment will start as a temporary agency contract in June or August 2026, lasting until December 18, 2026.
