We are looking for a skilled team member for a temporary position. Service supervisor for food industry cleaning tasks in Kouvola. The work begins immediately after finding a suitable person and will last until the end of August, with the possibility to continue part-time in other locations afterward. We are seeking a food cleaner for a summer substitute. The tasks include pressure washing of premises, equipment, machinery, and tools. Maintaining high hygiene standards is essential for the continuity of food production. The work is active and physically demanding, involving a lot of movement and environmental changes, such as temperature variations from warm to cool. We will provide thorough training for your tasks. This job is suitable if you enjoy active work and find physical activity a natural part of your tasks. You will also meet our clients' staff during your work, so good customer service skills and a cheerful attitude will help you succeed. After the summer, there may be opportunities for work in other client sites around Kouvola and nearby areas in maintenance cleaning. Due to the mobile nature of the work, a driver’s license and access to a car are considered advantages. We expect from you: - being of legal age - good physical condition - a valid occupational safety card and hygiene passport (or willingness to obtain them) - readiness to work evening and night shifts - a cheerful customer service attitude and enthusiasm for the tasks - good Finnish language skills to ensure workplace safety. The salary (13.88 €/h) is in accordance with the collective agreement for property services workers, based on the job complexity in the summer pay group 4 + evening and night shift bonuses. Salary increases will take effect from 1.8.2026. Working hours/shifts: Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Friday. Work in food cleaning is in evening or night shifts starting at 16:00, with full-time hours available in the summer. After the summer, work may be available in day and evening shifts. Interested?
