Practical Nurse (80%), Home Care for Over 65, Vaasa - Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue - Vaasa, Finland

We are seeking a part-time (80%) practical nurse for the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia, with an initial placement in Home Care for Over 65, Vaasa. The work is mainly in Mustasaari and Vöyri, as well as nearby areas. The work is daytime on weekdays. The employment begins on August 3, 2026, or as agreed. Job duties require a driving license and the possibility to use your own car. Medication authorization must be completed or obtained within two months of starting employment. Qualifications: - Degree as a practical nurse or a qualification according to the Decree on Health Care Professionals (564/1994) or the Decree on Social Welfare Professionals (153/2016). - Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of Finland. Practical nurses must register with both professional registers maintained by Valvira, Terhikki and Suosikki. Additionally, the selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) section 48 and a criminal record extract as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A trial period applies.
