Specialist Orthodontist, Heinola - Päijät-Hämeen hyvinvointialue - Heinola, Finland

We are seeking a specialist orthodontist in Heinola to complement our skilled team. The Heinola dental clinic offers bright, spacious facilities with modern, high-quality equipment. The clinic has 14 treatment rooms and specializes in joint and jaw examinations for children and youth, with complex cases referred to Päijät-Häme Central Hospital. The role involves specialist orthodontic duties and leading the Heinola orthodontic team. You will work mostly independently, supported by assistants and experienced dental hygienists, with remote collegial support from other orthodontists in the welfare area. The position is part-time, with a need of 25-30% in Heinola, potentially increasing to 50% if combined with Asikkala. You can influence your working days and start in the fall, with a mix of independent responsibility and team support. The patient group in Heinola includes about 1700 children and adolescents aged 6-17 receiving orthodontic treatment. We expect you to work independently, lead team activities, and have good collaboration and communication skills. Experience in supervision is a plus.
