Speech Therapist 90%, Health Services, Jämsä, Jyväskylä, Fixed-term - Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue

We are seeking a speech therapist for our health services team for a fixed-term position at 90% working hours from August 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. If desired, there is an opportunity to continue working at 40% in Jyväskylä from January 1, 2027, to February 28, 2027. Initially, your primary work location will be at the Auvilantie site in Jämsä. You will work 50% of your time in Jämsä (3 days a week) and approximately 40% in Jyväskylä (2 days a week). As a speech therapist, you will serve clients within your designated area. Most clients are children, but we also serve adults. Your work includes assessment, rehabilitation, guidance for local communities, and multidisciplinary collaboration based on client needs. The regional speech therapy team includes various professionals, and we maintain an open atmosphere, good collegial support, and opportunities to utilize your strengths in your work. You will be part of the local rehabilitation team and collaborate closely with physiotherapists, early childhood education, and health clinics. Cooperation with clients, their families, and other stakeholders is emphasized. There is room for developing work practices and trying new approaches, which are planned together. You will receive comprehensive orientation and support from a broad team of colleagues. Sufficient time is allocated for familiarization, which can be conducted both in person and remotely. Regular consultative discussions are organized within the work community. Partial remote work is possible. The salary for this position at 100% working hours is €4,438.25/month. In addition, we pay experience-based supplements of 3% for over 5 years and 8% for over 10 years of work experience. As a public employer, you are also entitled to longer statutory annual leave. Accumulation of leave days depends on your work experience—the more experience, the more earned leave days.
