Lead Mechanical Designer - Etteplan Oyj - Remote - Global

We are looking for several lead mechanical designers to join Patria's client projects. In this role, you will develop top-level solutions for projects that directly impact society's safety and functionality. You will lead the design process as a whole, ensuring that technical solutions progress with high quality from start to finish. As a lead designer, you combine strong mechanical design expertise with the ability to lead design teams and manage large entities. Your responsibilities include defining technical requirements and implementing them with your team, ensuring solutions meet quality, cost, and schedule targets. You will form project structures (WBS), translate requirements into concrete design tasks, and coordinate and prioritize work. You will guide and support design teams and ensure smooth workflow. You will work closely with clients and be a key link between the client, project management, and design teams, translating technical solutions into understandable business needs.
