Licensed Practical Nurse (50%), Hagaborg, Uusikaarlepyy, Pohjanmaa Wellbeing Area - Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue - Nykarleby, Finland

We are seeking a part-time (50%) substitute for a licensed practical nurse for the Pohjanmaa Wellbeing Area from June 21, 2026, to August 31, 2027, with an initial placement at Hagaborg in Uusikaarlepyy. Hagaborg's residential unit is intended for elderly clients with psychiatric diagnoses who, due to mental or physical limitations, cannot manage without round-the-clock support and guidance. Your primary task is to care for residents' well-being and support their own resources and functional capacity. We value a responsible and flexible work attitude and interest in working with mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation clients. The work involves three-shift rotation. Qualifications: - A degree as a licensed practical nurse or a qualification according to the decree on health care professionals (564/1994) or the decree on social welfare professionals (153/2016). - Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of Finland. The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) Section 48. Additionally, the candidate must present a criminal record extract as specified in the Criminal Records Act (6 § 2 mom). A trial period will be applied.
