A earthworks worker is being sought for daytime work alongside a excavator operator in the Turku region for the summer season/gig work, with employment continuing until September according to agreement. This is a practical summer job in the earthmoving industry in the Turku area. In this role, you will work alongside an excavator operator on the construction site, ensuring smooth progress of work. The job is suitable if you enjoy working outdoors, are proactive, and have experience working on construction sites. The use of a laser is an essential part of the work, so we hope you are already familiar with it. Your workday will consist of assisting with earthmoving tasks and practical duties as part of the site team. The work is daytime, with start date to be agreed separately. Your tasks may include, for example: Working alongside an excavator operator, Shoveling and other earthmoving assistance tasks, Checking levels and lines with a laser, General practical tasks on the construction site. We are looking for someone with basic skills suitable for the role and a good work attitude. The most important thing in this role is the ability to work smoothly on-site as part of practical work. We hope you have: Some experience in earthmoving or similar construction tasks, Skills in laser use, Valid safety card, Physical readiness for outdoor work, A proactive and responsible work attitude. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working specifically alongside an excavator operator or in different phases of earthmoving. We also value initiative and the ability to handle tasks flexibly as part of a team.
