The position is for an early childhood education childcare worker at Mäntymäen Daycare Center for the period 3.8.2026 - 31.7.2027, or as agreed. Our daycare is located centrally in Söderkulla, making it easy to go on trips to the nearby forest, library, and sports field. The daycare has five Finnish-speaking groups, of which four are currently active. We have one group for children under 3 years old and three groups for children aged 3-5 years. All groups are staffed with professional and dedicated educators who have worked in the unit for a long time. We collaborate across group boundaries, and educators feel that our space enables daily small group activities. It is important to us that adults are genuinely present and unhurried with children. Through sensitive and warm interaction, we build trusting relationships between children, educators, and guardians. The minimum qualification requirement is at least the qualification according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), considering sections 74 and 75 and transitional provisions. Salary and terms of employment are based on the municipal personnel collective agreement (KVTES). The position is subject to a trial period. The salary for the position is 2590.35 euros/month plus possible additional pay. The selected person must present a criminal record extract as required by law (504/2002) for those working with children. The Infectious Diseases Act requires tuberculosis screening before starting work with preschool children.
