Job Description
We are looking for a sales-oriented and personable contact manager for our Helsinki Malmi office. At JWD, we are accustomed to working hard to achieve results with professionalism, humility, and teamwork, as in team sports. We are a semi-national company serving various industries, mainly construction, building services, manufacturing, and logistics, but we operate in any field where workers are needed. We aim to be a leader in our industry, demonstrating agility and efficiency in employment without compromising quality. We maintain honesty and transparency in all our dealings. As an employer, we are approachable and appreciative. As a staffing provider, we are reliable, proactive, and open professionals who welcome quick decisions and dynamic situations. JWD Palvelut Oy was established in autumn 2018 as a comprehensive staffing service provider. It started in the Helsinki metropolitan area, followed by offices in Turku, Espoo, Jyväskylä, Oulu, and Tampere. Some of these offices have since become independent units or ceased operations due to challenges in construction-related sectors. We are now seeking a persistent, straightforward, and sales-driven individual for Uusimaa, someone eager to learn, develop themselves, and improve our operations. Everyone has their own way of working, which we support, making the work meaningful, vibrant, and educational. In our flexible work environment, no one will breathe down your neck or check your clock-in time; results speak for themselves. You will receive support from your colleagues, so you won't have to face the workday alone. We listen to everyone's opinions. Failures are learning opportunities, and successes are celebrated together. Being the funniest and most straightforward team member is a plus. Success in this role equals a Win-Win-Win situation: the job seeker finds employment, the client company gets the work done, and we provide solutions for unmet needs. The goal is to build a team in Uusimaa where you can influence future personnel decisions. In this role, you cannot just wait for phone calls about worker placements or for workers to come into the office in high-visibility vests with tools. Instead, your day will include active new customer acquisition and some service to existing clients by assessing their needs. Additionally, you will search for suitable job seekers in our system to fill client orders and participate in onboarding (together with a staffing consultant). You may not spend the entire day at your computer, as client meetings and site visits are also important. Once you learn the basics, you should be able to handle the entire recruitment process from start to finish, including employer obligations. Once familiar with the tasks, we offer a competitive and motivating salary. The responsibilities will not be immediately assigned on your first day; proper training and orientation will be provided, and tasks will be gradually added. The focus will mainly be on sales, supported by skilled staffing consultants/recruiters at the office. We expect applicants to have previous experience in the staffing industry, and knowledge of construction, building services, manufacturing, or logistics sectors is a plus. The most important qualities for success are a strong attitude, good communication skills, resilience under pressure, and an insatiable sales drive. Age does not matter; personality does. A personal vehicle is necessary for the job. If you see yourself as a flexible, fearless team player with a suitable attitude, send your application with a CV, salary expectations, and contact details without delay. Interviews will start during the application period. For more information, contact Karo Lehto on weekdays from 16:30 to 17:30 at 040 166 3747. You can also send your application and CV via the link or email to karo.lehto@jwdpalvelut.fi.
