Job Description

A major engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a portfolio of civil engineering and nuclear infrastructure projects at a secure site near Plymouth. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team, you'll be responsible for the commercial management of projects from inception through to final account. Key duties will include contract administration (NEC), managing subcontractor accounts, assessing and negotiating compensation events, preparing valuations and forecasts, cost reporting, risk management, and providing project teams with commercial advice. Candidates must have previous quantity surveying experience in defence, nuclear, or civil engineering sectors, strong NEC contract knowledge, and UK-born with a British passport due to security clearance.
