Construction Site Engineer, Groundworks (Whole Finland) - Destia Oy

We are looking for a construction site engineer for Destia's groundworks unit. The role involves participating in earth and rock services projects domestically. Key responsibilities include quality assurance and system implementation on site, cost calculation and management during project phases, procurement preparation and supplier collaboration, safety monitoring and development, scheduling and updating project timelines, and reporting and internal communication. The position is part of an experienced and straightforward team that shares expertise and supports each other. International projects are also part of the work, with colleagues in Finland and the Nordic countries. The employment is permanent and full-time, starting as agreed. The office is located in Tripla (Helsinki), but travel across Finland and possibly to Sweden and Norway is required. Success in the role requires at least a polytechnic-level technical education (e.g., construction or infrastructure engineering), experience in site engineering especially in groundworks projects, readiness to work in international construction contracts in Sweden and Norway, skills in scheduling, cost control, and procurement, basic IT skills, and good cooperation and communication skills.
