Would you like to work as an employee in engine manufacturing? We are looking for motivated and eager-to-learn electricians for Wärtsilä's Vaasa factories. The work involves electrical installation of ship and power plant engines using modern methods in a tidy work environment. You will enjoy diverse and challenging electrical installation tasks that provide opportunities to develop your skills within a professional work community. Candidates should have a professional qualification as an electrical or automation installer, and previous experience in electrical or automation installation tasks. Proficiency in reading technical drawings is important for performing the work. Additionally, we expect readiness for shift work. As a candidate, you understand the importance of your work as part of a team, and safety and quality work are integral to your work approach. We also require candidates to have a motivated and proactive attitude! The working language in production is Finnish, and proficiency in English is considered an advantage. The employment contract will be made with Barona Teollisuus Oy and is initially temporary. Successful candidates will undergo a security clearance (Security Clearance Act 726/2014) and a health check, which includes a drug test. Passing these checks is a prerequisite for employment.
