Do you want to do meaningful specialist work that promotes wellbeing, prevents substance abuse harms, and strengthens mental health in regional cooperation? We are looking for a SPECIALIST for a substitute position in preventive substance abuse and mental health work for the Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing area. In the Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing area, the Preventive Substance Abuse and Mental Health Unit is responsible for regional coordination and the implementation of statutory preventive substance abuse work in the area. We do preventive substance abuse work extensively in various everyday environments together with municipalities, organizations, authorities, and other actors. At the core of our work are early identification and support, strengthening of expertise, and evidence-based operating models. Through communication and campaigns, we inform about services, current phenomena, and research, and influence attitudes. We organize training for employees of the wellbeing area and municipalities. Our wellbeing area uses the Pakka operating model, in which, for example, residents are heard in a substance abuse situation survey. Success in the position is supported especially by: - good networking and interaction skills, ability to facilitate and self-direction - expertise in preventive substance abuse work as well as substance abuse and mental health work - experience related to communication and information management - ability to produce clear and structured factual text and willingness to appear as an expert in various events - strong organizational ability and experience in development We offer the support of the team and supervisor, good orientation, and comfortable and functional workspaces in Tikkurila.
