We are seeking professionals to work at Kotaharju in Pirkanmaa, providing around-the-clock child protection services. The work involves three shifts, mainly in the evenings, at Kotaharju, located in Kangasala's Pikonlinna area, with four 7-place specialized units: Kataja, Petäjä, Lehmus, and Leppä. Your tasks include supporting the unit’s child care, acting as a reliable adult for children and youth, and applying your expertise as needed. We value genuine interest in impactful child protection work, a supportive and enabling approach, and the courage to work with knowledge, skill, and emotion. The ideal candidate has a professional, independent work style, and the ability to guide and motivate youth. Previous work or internship experience in child protection is an advantage. Salary is based on the private social sector collective agreement, G20C or G23 levels, depending on education and experience, with additional shift allowances. Applicants must have a social and health care or education qualification (e.g., nurse, social worker, community pedagogue, rehabilitation instructor, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist) or a basic qualification in social and health care or education (e.g., practical nurse). A driver’s license, hygiene passport, and social and health care professional ID are required. The employment contract follows the Private Social Services Collective Agreement.
