English School Seeks Classroom Assistant for Primary School (Preschool and Grades 1-6) - Englantilaisen Koulun Säätiö - Helsinki, Finland

The English School is seeking a permanent classroom assistant for preschool and primary school grades 1-6 starting August 10, 2026 (38.25 hours/week). The applicant must be qualified as a classroom assistant and proficient in Finnish at native level and very good in English. The English School was founded in 1945 and is Finland's oldest bilingual school. Its special mission is to teach English and Finnish languages and cultures. The school has approximately 700 students and about 70 staff members. Our staff is international and active. We value innovation, goal-orientedness, and teamwork skills. Original certificates demonstrating qualifications must be presented during the interview. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the law before starting the position. The probation period is six months.
