South Savo Welfare Area Eloisa is seeking a personal care assistant for a permanent position in disability services at the personal assistance center for its own assistance activities in Mikkeli, starting from 22.6.2026 or as agreed. We are looking for a personal care assistant for our own assistance activities at the personal assistance center. The duties of a personal care assistant include conducting assessment periods for personal assistance and assisting clients at home and outside the home, such as in daily activities, hobbies, social participation, and maintaining social interaction. We use the RAI measure to assess the client's functional capacity. As an employee in our own assistance activities, you will have the opportunity to do interesting independent work with team support. The position is based in Mikkeli, but we operate across the entire welfare area. Knowledge of social and health care service systems is an advantage. Our work approach emphasizes client participation and rehabilitation. The role requires a valid driving license and access to a car. We value good teamwork and communication skills, the ability to work independently, flexibility, adaptability to changing situations, and a positive attitude towards development. Working hours are mainly weekdays, but may include evenings and weekends. Experience in similar roles and completed online studies and exams in LOVE medication administration are considered an advantage. Persons working with disabled individuals must present an acceptable criminal record extract before starting work if the employment exceeds 3 months (Supervision Act 741/2023, §28).
