Kaivopuiston Kala is a traditional gourmet shop in South Helsinki. In addition to high-quality fish and meat counters, our storefront offers a versatile selection of home-cooked meals for takeout. Our selection emphasizes classic Nordic dishes. Our range varies according to the seasons, and you will have the opportunity to work with rarer ingredients. We prepare all our food in our own kitchen from scratch. Your duties include independently managing the daily setup of the counters, ordering goods, handling fish and meat, maintaining the general appearance of the store, and most importantly, customer service. You will work as part of a team with other salespeople, so teamwork skills are important. The work is rewarding and independent, and an entrepreneurial approach helps in succeeding in the role. You can be a seasoned veteran or a newer professional in the field; for us, attitude is key, and a proactive approach will take you far. A person with a suitable profile has the opportunity to advance to store manager on a fast track. Working hours are Tuesday–Saturday between 9:00 and 18:00. Working at Kaivopuiston Kala requires good Finnish language skills. Start date as soon as possible.
