Job Description
We are looking for a production worker for the wood industry production in Riihimäki. The work involves packing and handling timber, which is routine and partly physical work. You will start in the packing department, responsible for packing and handling wood products. During the work, additional tasks from different production stages will be taught to you. The employment is initially temporary until the end of September 2026, but we hope the selected person can continue longer and possibly be employed on the client's own books after the summer. Work content and working hours include packing and handling timber in production, physical and practical work, mainly working in two shifts (morning and evening shifts alternating weekly), with the possibility of three-shift work during summer. The workplace is located in Hirsimäki, Riihimäki. Salary includes a basic salary of €1213/hour, evening shift allowance of €1.19/hour, and night shift allowance of €2.18/hour. We hope from you good basic fitness and readiness for physical work, willingness to learn and motivated attitude, and sufficient Finnish language skills to understand work instructions.
