Maintenance Technician - Eilakaisla Oy - Nurmijärvi, Finland

We are looking for a maintenance technician to join our client Oy Lux Ab, responsible for industrial equipment maintenance, installation, and commissioning tasks. The role is permanent and full-time, starting in August 2026. The technician will mainly work on heavy industry machinery such as foundries and process industry equipment, including mechanical and electrical maintenance, installation, and commissioning. Tasks include working on melting furnaces, galvanizing machines, and other process devices. The role also involves promoting consumables sales by providing process services like measurements and calibrations, and building a reputation as a knowledgeable and active supplier with the sales team. The work is mainly customer-site based across Finland and involves preparation work at the Nurmijärvi warehouse, so residence in the Nurmijärvi area is preferred. Candidates should have experience working with industrial machinery, readiness for practical maintenance and installation tasks, S2-level electrical installation certification or training towards it, and basic welding skills. Prior experience in maintenance, repair, or installation in heavy industry, ability to read technical drawings and documentation, fluent Finnish and good English skills are required. Success in the role requires initiative, independence, problem-solving skills, and good teamwork and customer service attitude. Willingness to travel domestically and actively ensure safety is essential. Flexibility, eagerness to learn, and a practical approach are valued.
