Job Description
You will be joining a small team, where you will have real ownership and the opportunity to influence how reporting evolves within the product. In this end-to-end role, you will work across the full data pipeline, from querying and optimizing data in the database to designing clear and impactful dashboards embedded directly into the product. Your work focuses on building and developing Power BI reporting within the Linear platform, including data modeling, SQL queries, and performance optimization for growing datasets. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, DevOps, and customer-facing teams, and explore new reporting and analytics opportunities together with customers. Initially, you will focus on rebuilding and modernizing Linear's customer-facing reporting layer. Over time, you can grow toward product ownership of reporting and/or analytics as the company builds a dedicated reporting & analytics function.

Responsibilities

Requirements
- Previous experience working with Power BI in a professional environment
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases
- Experience with ETL processes and data transformation, data modeling, and building efficient reporting solutions
- Ability to work across the full reporting pipeline from data source to visualization
- Good communication skills and working proficiency in English
- Ability to understand and speak Finnish in a work context
