ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER'S WORK AT JYSK: - Responsible for the store's sales leadership, B2B sales, and continuously training the team on various JYSK concepts. - Goals guide your work: we all have a clear direction and a desire to exceed expectations. - Work closely as a partner to the store manager and take on supervisory responsibilities and tasks. - Act as a good example for the whole team, prioritize and delegate weekly tasks, support shift planning, handle campaign changes, team communication, monitor KPIs, and ensure the store is always commercial and ready for customers. - Weekly tasks include active feedback to the team to help them succeed. - Work requires good basic fitness, but you get the best tools and team support. - Versatility – store, warehouse, campaigns... boredom is not in our vocabulary. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: - Motivation to work as a supervisor and lead the team to results by your own example. - Experience and evidence from roles such as shift lead are an advantage, but not essential. - Sales-minded, with results and exceeding goals being important to you. You want to sell and succeed in every shift. - You see training, onboarding, and guiding others as part of your strengths. - Tolerate incompleteness, as there is a lot to do and not everything can be finished at once. - At your best in a rush and fast-paced environment. You like a fast pace and unexpected tasks during a shift. - Proactive and independent, gaining energy from teamwork and exceeding your own goals. - Flexible regarding tasks, hours, and times. Work is done in varying shifts: mornings, evenings, and weekends.
