Safari Manager - Osuma Henkilöstöpalvelut

We are looking for a safari manager for our client company in the Tunturi-Lappi region to oversee activities at one accommodation site. The position is full-time and permanent, and the selected person will be employed directly by our client. As a safari manager, you will be responsible for the daily safari and program services at the accommodation site, as well as developing the operations: the program includes various nature activities according to seasons. You will act as a supervisor for safari guides, ensure smooth operational functioning, and guarantee that customers receive a safe, high-quality, and memorable experience. Your daily work will emphasize leadership tasks, including recruitment, shift planning, and team support, planning and coordinating safaris and activities, monitoring equipment and gear condition and utilization, ensuring safety instructions and procedures, and managing resources and costs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop operations, participate in designing new experiences, and significantly influence the quality of customer experience. You will work closely with the accommodation, restaurant, and reception teams. Requirements include the ability to understand and manage broad operations and make decisions independently, previous experience in program services, tourism, or safari services, and at least two years of leadership experience, understanding of safety issues and readiness to ensure safe operating procedures in all activities, and proficiency in Finnish and English, both spoken and written.
