Morning and Afternoon Activity Coordinator - Sotkamon kunta - Sotkamo, Finland

We are seeking a morning and afternoon activity coordinator for a fixed-term employment from August 3, 2026, to December 31, 2027. The coordinator develops and plans morning and afternoon activities in collaboration with staff. The arrangements are coordinated with early childhood education and basic education. The coordinator organizes daily activities, internal substitutions, and acts as the direct supervisor of guides. The ideal candidate has a relevant qualification in education and sufficient experience in morning and afternoon activities. Experience working with children, development work, and good IT skills are considered an advantage. A positive attitude and flexible working style are important skills. The coordinator collects data affecting the state subsidy system and prepares placement, payment, and exemption decisions related to morning and afternoon activities for the responsible official. The coordinator plans quality monitoring and development of morning and afternoon activities, communication with guardians and partners, and prepares training related to these activities. The selected candidate must present a medical certificate of health, a drug test, and a criminal record extract as per the Criminal Records Act 0, subsection 2, related to working with children.
