Welcome to work as a laboratory nurse at health center laboratories in northern Espoo and West Uusimaa! HUS Diagnostics Center is Finland's leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our main area of operation is the specialized healthcare of the HUS consortium and the primary healthcare of the welfare areas belonging to HUS. We also handle laboratory and imaging operations for the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia welfare areas. We operate across eight medical specialties. We are responsible for several nationally demanding tests as well as research and teaching at university hospitals. Diagnostic tests play a central role in confirming, ruling out, treating, monitoring, and screening for diseases. Approximately 3,300 laboratory and imaging professionals work at HUS Diagnostics Center across more than 150 locations. We are seeking a laboratory nurse for a permanent or fixed-term position at the diagnostics center's health center laboratories in Leppävaara, Sammarainen, Nummela, or Lohja. As a laboratory nurse in a health center laboratory, you play an important role in pre-analytical processes. You will influence the quality and patient safety of sample collection, which is a key goal for us. Your workday includes customer guidance, blood sampling, gynecological sampling, taking heart films, handling samples, and spirometry tests. The task-specific salary for a laboratory nurse is €2,957.14/month. It is also possible to receive a maximum of 8% experience bonus.
