Job Description
Our team has an opening for a practical nurse who wants to do meaningful work in a client's home! We are looking for a practical nurse who shares our values: reliability, friendliness, and flexibility. We appreciate a positive attitude, genuine care, and a desire to develop operations together. At Onni, we understand that home is the most important place in a person's life. Therefore, we offer 24/7, personalized, and high-quality care in the client's own home, safely and human-centered. As a practical nurse, you are an important part of the client's daily life and enable them to live their own way at home. You will work closely with a nurse and team supervisor, responsible for the client's quality care as part of the respiratory support team. The work is carried out in permanent night shifts, allowing you to work in a calm environment and focus genuinely on the client's well-being. In the respiratory support team, you care for one client at a time, making the work more relaxed, personalized, and client-oriented. We offer you meaningful work, warm team support, and the opportunity to do human-centered and unhurried care. You have a practical nurse qualification, vaccination protection according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act, and current medication administration studies (which you can also complete with us if needed). We value previous experience in similar tasks or diverse work experience in different healthcare environments. Since the service is provided in the client's home, experience with home-based services is an advantage. However, what matters most to us is finding a good fit for the team with a genuine desire to commit to client care. Proficiency in Finnish is required. We offer meaningful and varied work with comprehensive orientation. You do not need prior experience in caring for a client on a ventilator, as our team provides thorough training on the job and ventilator use. We want you to feel confident and secure while working. Orientation is tailored to each individual's background and skills. Your daily work will be shared with the client, team supervisor, and our close-knit, professional, and supportive team. We offer: Depending on your years of experience, €14.82 - €16.03/hour + shift allowances. The salary consists of a base pay (pay grade G20C). We pay for your hours worked twice a month (on the 13th and 28th). A responsible, reliable, and domestic employer. The opportunity to develop your professional skills. Read more about the fantastic employee benefits of the Tradeka Group (including discounts at Restel restaurants). Friendly colleagues. We look forward to hearing from you! Applying takes only a few minutes, so submit your application today. The application deadline is June 20, 2026. We will interview candidates during the application period and agree on start dates flexibly. Applicants must present a criminal record extract as required by the Social and Health Care Supervision Act, starting from January 1, 2024. If you have any questions, feel free to contact team supervisor Tiina Honkala at tiina.honkala@onnion.fi, phone 041 731 0907.
