Job Description
Airalo is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote engineering team. You will lead the design of fault-tolerant systems in AWS, define SLOs and SLIs, conduct post-incident reviews, develop automation tools, and collaborate with software engineers to ensure system reliability and scalability. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Engineering, 5+ years of SRE experience, AWS and Kubernetes expertise, and proficiency with observability tools. Experience with infrastructure as code, chaos engineering, CI/CD, and event-driven architecture is required. Fluency in English and good communication skills are essential.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role
- 3+ years with AWS services including container orchestration
- 2+ years Kubernetes experience
- Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Datadog, OpenTelemetry
- Experience with incident management and postmortem analysis
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Experience with chaos engineering and testing system resilience
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, Java
- Event-driven architecture experience (SNS, SQS)
