Casual Warehouse Workers for Vierumäki - SOL Logistiikkapalvelut Oy

We are looking for warehouse workers for Vierumäki for the summer season. The work includes various warehouse tasks with a forklift outdoors and in an outdoor warehouse. The products handled are related to heavy construction, so experience in handling long and heavy items supports success in the job. If necessary, training will be provided. The tasks involve working with timber, such as large plywood sheets and wooden boards. There is an opportunity to perform independent forklift work, emphasizing proactive and independent work attitude. Requirements include: Fluent Finnish language skills (work language Finnish), Readiness for outdoor work, Good spatial awareness and depth perception, Self-directed and responsible work approach, Ability to commute to the workplace with personal transportation. Advantages include: Previous warehouse work experience, Forklift driving experience, Experience with 4-way forklift trucks. We seek individuals with a positive attitude towards work, willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to work naturally as part of a team. The work is on a gig basis, with shifts offered according to customer needs. Shifts are mainly on weekdays in two shifts (morning 6:00–14:00 and evening 14:00–22:00), but applicants should be prepared for night shifts as the season progresses. Work begins in June and continues until approximately the end of summer, with some opportunities to start already in May. Salary is based on the Collective Agreement for Retail Trade and is calculated on a table salary of 12.18–14.57 €/h (+ evening and night bonuses).
