We are looking for a person with good teamwork skills and an active work approach. We require the applicant to have a desire for close collaboration within the work community, good communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly with other teachers, students, and their parents. We value experience in teaching Finnish language, pedagogical qualifications, and a vision for developing Finnish language education. During the 2026-2027 school year, Havukoski School has approximately 420 students in grades 6-9. The school is located near good transportation links along the Lahti motorway and main railway, about 4 km from Tikkurila. The school was renovated in 2018-2019. The school building and grounds meet the requirements of the new curriculum. The teaching facilities enable various pedagogical solutions and collaboration between different teaching groups and teachers. For teaching staff working with students who speak languages other than Finnish as their mother tongue (S2), a monthly salary supplement of 165.20 euros can be paid, based on the number of students.
