Special Education Teacher in Early Childhood Education - Eurajoen kunta - Eurajoki, Finland

The municipality of Eurajoki is accepting applications until July 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM for a permanent position as a Special Education Teacher in Early Childhood Education starting August 24, 2026. Qualifications required by section 30 of the Early Childhood Education Act: 1) Qualification for a kindergarten teacher position, with additional studies in special education as specified by government regulation; or 2) Master's degree in Education with a major in special pedagogy (early childhood special education training) We also value expertise in early childhood education and preschool education, good interaction and teamwork skills, strong organizational ability, and a proactive and flexible work attitude. The first placement for the Special Education Teacher will be at Päiväkoti Kuunari in Luvia. The teacher will be responsible for the special pedagogical planning and implementation for their own group in collaboration with the team, and will consult with other groups in the daycare as needed. Our municipality also employs a consulting special education teacher and two broad-based special education teachers. The selected candidate must provide a valid medical certificate of health and a valid criminal record extract in accordance with Act 504/2002 before starting the position. Probation period: 6 months.
