We are seeking a part-time (50%) practical nurse for the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia, with an initial placement at children's care rounds in Närpiö. The work is primarily morning shifts in the care rounds. Children’s care rounds include children aged 0-16 years, who require home care due to a serious illness, in close cooperation with the child's parents. The work takes place in the home of a single patient, allowing for comprehensive care focused on the same patient. The patient requires continuous monitoring throughout the shift. Experience and skills in basic pediatric care, interest and expertise in pediatric specialized care, and experience working in a patient's home are considered advantageous. Qualifications: - Degree as a practical nurse or a qualification according to the Decree on Health Care Professionals (564/1994) or the Decree on Social Welfare Professionals (153/2016). - Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of Finland. Practical nurses must register with both professional registers maintained by Valvira, Terhikki and Suosikki. Additionally, the selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) section 48, and a criminal record extract as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A trial period will be applied.
