Solutions Engineer – Government & National Security - Switzerland - Skydio - Remote - Global

Skydio is looking for a driven Solutions Engineer to lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and implementation for government and national security customers, supporting Ministries of Defense or equivalent organizations across Eastern Europe and the Middle East. This role involves working closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to translate customer needs into successful deployments, acting as a technical bridge, and managing end-to-end technical engagement including discovery, proof-of-concept, system demonstrations, validation, and fielded implementations. The candidate should be comfortable engaging with senior government stakeholders and field engineers, with strong familiarity with government acquisition processes and complex technical system delivery. Responsibilities include planning and executing proof-of-concepts, system validation, customer implementations, supporting government contracting activities, and translating operational feedback into product development. The role requires up to 70% travel, drone pilot certifications, and full professional proficiency in English.
