AI Lead Developer - Loihde Oyj

We are looking for an AI Lead Developer to help our clients harness the full potential of artificial intelligence. In this role, you will accelerate the adoption of AI-native workflows and be involved in developing future intelligent products and processes. You will build practical solutions and advise clients on technology and AI-driven change. Our Data, Digital & AI unit has over 200 professionals working on data, AI, and digital services. Together, we are building Finland's leading digital development partner, combining physical and digital security operations and digital service development in a way that sets us apart from other Nordic consulting firms. Your tasks include consulting client development teams on AI-native SDLC implementation, building and producing LLM-based applications, designing scalable LLM architectures, assisting clients in technological and AI-driven transformations, acting as a hands-on builder, sharing expertise with the team, and participating in pre-sales activities. We expect you to be a builder and experimenter, actively following how AI changes product and service development, with a hands-on approach and courage to lead change. You need experience in building LLM applications, understanding harness and context engineering, designing scalable AI architectures, and fluency in Finnish and English. Technical requirements include Typescript or Python, frameworks like Mastro, Langchain, Azure AI Foundry, SQL or other databases, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, or Scaleway. We value knowledge of other programming languages, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, React, and a passion for AI projects. The position is hybrid, based in Helsinki or Oulu, with regular weekly office visits. The employment is permanent, with salary based on experience, and start date flexible in August-September.
