Job Description
The first placement is at Kristinestad High School. The position is for the period 1.8.2026 - 30.6.2027. Qualifications: Education in youth and leisure sector, social work, or other relevant education. Preferred: Experience working with young people. Knowledge of the Finnish education system, especially upper secondary education. Ability to work in a guiding and supportive manner with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Good cooperation and communication skills. Proficiency in Swedish and English; additional languages are considered an advantage. Experience in integration work is a plus. Ability to work independently and take initiative. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract (504/2002, work with children) within 30 days of receiving the employment decision, as well as a satisfactory health certificate. Trial period: A trial period of 4-6 months may be applied. Salary according to AKTA 050KOU060 (equivalent to €2,261.04/month if working 100%).
