Mechanical Designer / Experienced Mechanical Designer - Etteplan Finland Oy

We are looking for a mechanical designer and a senior-level mechanical designer to work on various customer projects. The work involves practical mechanical design in NX and Teamcenter environments. The role offers opportunities to develop your skills and, at the senior level, to take responsibility for broader entities from the start. The job location is Hämeenlinna, Lahti, or Hyvinkää. The tasks are performed in a hybrid model at the office/customer site and remotely as needed. Main responsibilities: - Mechanical design in customer projects - 3D modeling and creation of 2D drawings using NX - Using Teamcenter as part of daily design work - Developing technical solutions in collaboration with customers and teams - At senior level, responsibility for larger entities, independent project advancement, and project management. Requirements: - AMK engineer or MSc degree in mechanical engineering - At least a few years of relevant experience - Experience in mechanical design for industrial customer projects - Good skills in NX (and/or Solid Edge), 3D modeling, and 2D drawings - Experience with Teamcenter - Ability to work independently and as part of design teams, taking responsibility for own entities - Excellent Finnish and reasonable English language skills. Preferred: - Experience in vehicle or mobile machinery design - Experience in demanding or regulated environments, e.g., defense, authorities, or high-reliability projects - Understanding of manufacturability and production perspectives.
