When Red Bull was founded in Austria in the mid 1980's, it marked the launch of not only a new product but also a unique marketing concept. The first can of Red Bull was sold in Austria in 1987 creating a whole new product category – Energy Drinks. OFFICE SPOTLIGHTFuschl am SeeRed Bull Austria is based near Salzburg in Fuschl am See, sharing an office with the global headquarters. The architectural office buildings, surrounded by crystal clear lakes and mountains, are a great spot for a lunchtime swim or training for the next Wings for Life World Run on the trails around the lake. The surroundings offer short hikes and tall peaks for mountain go-ers and during winter, after work ski-touring is just a few minutes from the office. In addition to our Fuschl am See office, Red Bull Austria has Field Sales (Off- and On-Premise) and Student Marketeers working throughout the country to bring our local strategy to life. Red Bull Austria’s sales teams are channel-oriented and organized into Off-Premise (retailers, where the product is consumed later) and On-Premise (hospitality venues, where the can is consumed and enjoyed immediately). With experts in the areas of Key Accounts, Field Sales, Distribution, Category Management and Trade Marketing, our Sales teams work collaboratively across business channels to build partnerships with our customers, secure availability and brand presence and drive maximum impact. The On- and Off-Premise teams are instrumental to Red Bull’s success; together with Operations, they strive to help our customers best serve the needs of consumers by providing a high-quality and reliable product mix that sells-through quickly and is re-stocked reliably.
