We are looking for a licensed practical nurse for the elderly care sector of the Satakunta wellbeing services area, specifically for North Satakunta home care. The work of a licensed practical nurse in home care involves customer-oriented care that takes place in the client's home, supporting and maintaining the client's functional capacity. The nurse is responsible for the care and well-being of home care clients according to an individual care and service plan, considering the client's own functional ability and existing resources. The work includes basic care as well as medical tasks. The work in home care is varied, and the client base is diverse. The qualification requirement is a relevant social and health care basic degree (title: practical nurse) or an equivalent qualification. The selected candidate must have a license issued under the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994) and be registered in the National Registry of Health Care Professionals maintained by Valvira. Before starting the position, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract valid from 1.1.2024, as required by law 741/2023, within 30 days of the decision. The role requires the use of a personal car, and the working language is Finnish. The work involves 3-shift and roster work, with working hours of 114 hours 45 minutes per 3-week period. Employment terms are governed by the SOTE agreement. The starting salary is currently €2714.20/month. A 6-month probation period applies.
