We are looking for a worker with a carpenter's eye, technical understanding, and above all, the ability to take initiative where help is needed. At KLX-Yhtiöt, we are expanding our operations and are seeking an independent and versatile worker for our team. The role does not fit into a single professional title, as we need someone who can handle various tasks with tools and common sense in different situations. What does your workday include? (Priorities) Your work is mobile and varied. The main focus is on two areas: - Renovation and repair work: Performing various carpentry and construction-related repair tasks at our sites (e.g., partition walls, moldings, door and window repairs, surface treatments, and other general repair work). - Technical property maintenance: Participating in ensuring the technical functionality of properties, troubleshooting repairs and issues, and scheduled maintenance. ...and what else? Since we are a versatile service company, almost anything can come up! Depending on the project, you may also assist in other machinery or maintenance services. This job will definitely prevent you from becoming stuck in routine or bored. What do we expect from you? - Practical experience: You have experience in construction, renovation, or property maintenance work (actual skills and willingness to produce quality work are more important than formal qualifications). - Self-management: You often work independently on sites. You should be able to assess what materials are needed and see the job through to completion. - Solution-oriented mindset and tact: When faced with a situation without a ready-made manual, you can adapt and find a workable solution for the customer. - Driver's license: The role requires at least a B driver's license for traveling between sites.
