Construction Project Manager - Senaatti-kiinteistöt - Helsinki, Finland

We are Finland's defense administration real estate partner. We build and maintain defense properties and organize their services in all security situations. Our special task is to ensure the functionality of defense system facilities in exceptional conditions and serious disturbances. The unit responsible for defense real estate construction and protection technology is seeking a construction group manager. Your work location can be in Oulu or Rovaniemi. Your work area is all of Finland, and you will have a vantage point in defense real estate construction projects. As a group manager, you will lead and coordinate the activities of the construction group and serve as the supervisor of your team members. The role focuses on ensuring the progress and resourcing of defense real estate investment projects, developing staff skills, and promoting well-being. You will participate in the planning and monitoring of the unit’s finances and operations, as well as in the development of activities and stakeholder cooperation. You should have a suitable higher education degree (e.g., engineer, architect, DI), strong leadership, collaboration, and team skills, proven success in customer work and real estate business knowledge, an independent and result-oriented approach, excellent organizational skills, at least 10 years of experience in the construction sector, and a defense mindset. We value diverse and deep experience in design, contracting, construction management, or administration tasks in the real estate and construction sector, knowledge of construction law and public procurement, language skills in English and Swedish, and RAP/RAPS certification and project management experience.
