We are hiring a mathematics subject teacher at Mäntynummi Comprehensive School for a fixed-term position from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. Mäntynummi Comprehensive School is a school for approximately 500 students in Lohja. The school is located in Mäntynummi, amidst beautiful ridge nature and good transportation links. Currently, we operate in well-functioning temporary facilities in Mäntynummi (grades 1-6), in Rantapuisto in Lohja town center (grades 7-9), and in Linnais, with a new multi-purpose building and school expected to be completed in 2029. Our teaching staff consists of about 60 members. A mentor teacher from our school will be assigned to support you during your induction and help you integrate into our community. We have a well-functioning student welfare team with whom you will collaborate. The certificates should show the completed degree and qualifying studies (e.g., pedagogical studies 60 credits, multidisciplinary studies 60 credits, subject-specific qualifications 60/120 credits). The salary for qualified applicants is 3002.78 - 3220.91 €/month plus possible annual bonuses or other allowances according to OVTES. Lohja's primary school teachers receive a VAT compensation of 146.55 €/month (Lohja-TVA). Additional VAT compensations may also be paid when working for Lohja city. The position is subject to a trial period, which is half the length of the employment. The selected candidate must present a health certificate from Keski-Uudenmaan Työterveys Oy, Lohja branch, within one month of starting employment, and a criminal background check as required by law (504/2002).
