We are looking for supervisors for temporary/relief work at the reception center located in Muurola, Rovaniemi. Babando's reception center in Muurola, Rovaniemi, is seeking supervisors for temporary/relief work. Temporary work is well suited for example alongside other work or studies. As a relief worker, you can choose your shifts and plan your week according to your needs! Selected relief workers can start working as soon as possible. Babando is a domestic social and health sector national operator established in 2017, providing first-class reception center services for adults, youth, and families seeking asylum and receiving temporary protection. Our current units are located in Kainuu and Rovaniemi. Reception center supervisors work at the customer interface, ensuring the quality of reception services. Supervisors play a key role especially in registering clients arriving at the reception center, accommodation, as well as general guidance and advice. One of the tasks is to provide support to asylum seekers and those receiving temporary protection, and to direct them to professionals working at the reception center if needed. Supervisors work in two shifts every day of the week, and shifts will be scheduled according to the unit’s needs. We require a suitable degree in social, health, education, sports, culture, or social sciences. Previous experience in reception center work, customer service, or working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment is considered an advantage. Proficiency in Finnish and English is required, and additional language skills are valued. Experience working with interpreters is also an advantage. As a relief worker, you can influence your working hours. Employment terms and salary are based on the private social services sector collective agreement.
