Job Description
We are seeking two specialist doctors for the Youth Psychiatry Unit of the Wellbeing Services County of Satakunta. The role involves patient work within the youth psychiatry unit. The specific work location can be agreed upon separately. We provide thorough orientation and senior support for the position. Your colleagues are experienced professionals in their field, and they will support you in your daily work. The youth psychiatry clinic is part of the psychiatric clinic group within specialized and hospital services. Most of our units are located at Satasairaala in Pori, in the new S-building completed in 2023. Additionally, outpatient services are available in Rauma, Harjavalta, Huittinen, and Kankaanpää. Our service offerings have been expanded and actively developed in recent years, and this development work continues. Candidates must be licensed as a specialist in youth psychiatry in Finland and have good Finnish language skills. We also consider applicants who are in the final stages of specializing in youth psychiatry. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children (504/2002), section 3, before taking up the position. A six (6) month probationary period applies to the appointment. Salary is determined according to the medical agreement, and additional benefits are decided separately. The work is day work with a weekly working time of 38.25 hours. Original diplomas will be verified from the interviewees. The employment begins on August 1, 2026, or as otherwise agreed.
