Summer 2026: Instructor, Niittykumpu, Vaajakoski/Jyvaskyla, fixed-term - Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Jyväskylä, Finland

We are hiring two instructors for summer temporary positions at Niittykumpu from July 1 to August 9, 2026, and from July 3 to August 16, 2026. Niittykumpu is a unit for disability services and a home for ten adults, located in Vaajakoski at Harjuhovi premises. The same building also houses the community living unit for disability services, Peltola, with which we collaborate closely daily. Niittykumpu instructors may also work shifts at Peltola by prior arrangement. The core of the instructor's role is to meet residents as equals, supporting their functional capacity, participation, and self-determination, while enhancing interaction and communication. The work includes guiding as well as caregiving tasks. The work is carried out with dedication and as part of a multidisciplinary team that supports residents' resources and functional capacity. The goal is to create a safe and meaningful environment where residents can live their own and a dignified life. Orientation is tailored to your individual needs, considering your previous experience and work history. The work involves three-shift rotation, but temporary positions may negotiate for two-shift work. Niittykumpu utilizes autonomous shift planning, which considers employees' different life situations.
