We are looking for a swimming instructor, physical activity instructor, or physical activity coach with good swimming skills and teaching experience to implement a project aimed at strengthening students' swimming skills and swimming education in Kristiinankaupunki's basic education during the period 15.8.2026-5.6.2027. The purpose of the project support is to enhance basic education swimming lessons to improve students' swimming skills and water safety knowledge. The project involves developing plans for improving swimming skills, as well as creating and establishing good operational models and practices. Teaching staff's expertise will be strengthened, and the goals related to students' swimming skills will be promoted in accordance with the national core curriculum for basic education. Qualifications required include education related to sports, youth, or leisure services, or other suitable education. Work experience in schools, sports, or leisure services is considered an advantage. We require good teamwork skills, good oral and written language skills, and sufficient proficiency in a second national language. Creativity, good communication skills, and a positive attitude are valued. The selected person must submit a criminal record extract (504/2002, working with children) within 30 days of receiving the employment decision and provide an acceptable health certificate. The working hours are 75%, but may be expanded to 100% through supervision at the swimming hall. Salary class 2VAP60B1 (2,448.75 EUR/month, full-time) A four-month trial period may be applied.
